How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

[EDIT: So the Tournament has been going pretty well so far, currently in the third round... have discovered though that 1 week deadlines are pretty terrible in terms of causing late nights 'n stress. Ah well, all part of the learning experience I guess!]

To update on this character sheet uploaded recently - the VOID Invitational Tournament has begun and my character has been included in the roster for the first fight!

I'm very excited about this battle! It normally takes me quite some time to do a comic page but I need to do at least 3 pages to upload by Friday (actual deadline is Sunday but I'm going away for the Easter weekend) so I will be figuring out a way to speed up the process, and will need to knuckle down over the next few days to get this done. So far I have a completed script so it's now on to drawing!

In an unrelated note,

posted a journal recently that pointed out a trick with Google where you can paste a link of one of your pics into image search (by clicking on the camera icon) and see if you get any unexpected results... it's a great way to find out if you've been the victim of art theft.

My results included finding that one of my Miranda pics is on a Russian forum (someone was showing it as an example of a 'grown up Gadget from Rescue Rangers'), and my Wildstar Aurin fanart pic was showcased on a Hungarian Wildstar website. There was also a weird one where someone took my meerkat design sheet and posted it on their blog but without my watermark... Google translate couldn't recognise the language so I've got no idea what that was about.

Yeah that'd be quite a few to try and investigate! I think you can be quite selective though, (I didn't check any of my comic pages for example) and try out what you think would be a candidate, like your Burning Bright pic, or if you've done any fanart of popular characters.
