Firstly, new piece of music... it's stronger, harder, better, faster. (Or maybe not, depends on personal taste I guess.)

Now, as a word of warning to all of you to BACK UP REGULARLY, I experienced a catastrophic mechanical failure of my hard drive recently... ironically just before I was about to make a backup on a new hard drive. So I'm currently in the process of trying to pick up the pieces and start over again, so I won't be working on any new art until I've sorted myself out with a copy of Paintshop Pro (which I've always used for lineart since Photoshop is not as good in this regard).
As small mercies go, I was lucky enough to have stuck my music (the new song linked at the top) and all my artwork including works-in-progress on my flashdrive recently, so I haven't lost any of that at least!
Seriously... back your stuff up, when hard drives decide to go, they don't give you much warning.

Aye.
IF you happen to have a S.M.A.R.T. enabled drive, which most of 'em are these days, there are many different early detection tools that will tell you whether or not it's about to kick the bucket.
Also, did you try sticking it in the freezer and then backing all your data up off of it as fast as you can?

Still here; just not as involved.

And no... can't say I thought of freezing the bugger, but I think I'm going to leave it with the data recovery folks now.
